Carrying the Mountain and River on Our Shoulders

This collection of bi-lingual translations of poetry by Vietnamese veterans of the American War includes over 25 poems co-translated by Fred Marchant and Nguyen Ba Chung. Other translators include Kevin Bowen, Martha Collins, Yusef Komunyakaa, and Bruce Weigl. The collection was published in Hanoi as part of the 2019 International Conference on Translation.
