Poetry Reading at Cambridge Public Library

The library is horizontally long and two floors high, with the entire front-facing wall made of windows. One can see the lights on inside and some orange walls. Out front, there is a lawn, some street lamps lining the paved paths to the front doors, and several black metal benches right in front. Fred Marchant presents at the Colrain Poetry Manuscript Conference on Whidbey Island, WA in The Captain Whidbey Inn. Colrain's unique, realistic method of manuscript evaluation sets poets with a manuscript-in-progress on a path toward publication. Poets also get a look into the publication world and make important contacts with leading editors, teachers, and publishers. Tuition for this prestigious event is $1,425 and includes lodging, meals, and conference activities.
